Frequently Asked Questions
Can I provide my own garments?
We do allow our customers to provide their own clean items to be embroidered or screenprinted. Cost will be determined based on quantities and decoration.
What is "camera ready" artwork?
Camera ready is an old printing term, but we still use it! A vector art file is camera ready: either .eps, .ai, .svg or sometimes a .pdf . If you don't have any of these, the next best thing is a high quality, 300 dpi .jpeg or .png that is the size of your printed area. A left chest is usually 4 inches in diameter and a full front/back can be as large as 12 inches. If you don't know what your file is, send it to us and we can tell you.
How long will my order take?
For screenprinting and embroidery orders our typical turnaround time is 2 weeks; however, certain holidays can create an increase in the turnaround time. Please be aware that turnarounds during the holiday season may be a little longer than our standard. Turnaround times for promotional products may vary depending on the product selected, with the minimum time typically being 3-4 weeks. Rushes may be available upon request, please call to speak with a sales representative.
Do I need camera ready artwork?
Vector and high quality photos are always helpful, but not always necessary. We can evaluate anything from sketches to business cards and website images. This process may incur an art charge.
Is there a minimum quantity for screenprinting orders?
All screenprinting orders that are receiving a one-color design require a minimum of 12 pieces. If your design is two ink colors we require a minimum of 24 pieces. Minimums continue to increase with each ink color added to the design.
What is digitizing?
Digitizing is the process of taking your logo or design and turning it into the computer file that drives the embroidery machine. Digitizing is a one time fee, so if you order more items with the exact same design you won't be charged for the digitizing cost again. If you need to make changes to the design, including the overall size, there may be additional charges.
What if I make a mistake spelling a name on a completed order?
We all make mistakes, including us! If we made the mistake, we will work with you to get the item replaced. In some cases we may be able to remove the design and replace it with the correct one, this is dependant on many variables, but our staff can assist you with this process. If removing the design is possible without damage to the garment this is the method that will be used.
Is there a minimum quantity for embroidery orders?
There is no minimum order for embroidery. We can process orders of 1 to how ever many you need! Our pricing is based on a quantity breakdown system, so the pricing will be higher for 1pc. vs. 12 or more. Please be sure to talk to a sales representative for all pricing scenarios.
